Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) meets a man at a freak show. This mysterious man turns out to be a vampire and Darren Shan's life have changed. He can't live his normal life any more. He must go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire. Darren Shan is sixteen going on immortal.

It is a fantasy-adventure about a teenager who unknowingly breaks a 200-year-old truce between two warring factions of vampires.
