The long wait ended today, February 11, 2010.  The 2010 Mavericks Surf Contest , presented by Sony Ericsson and Barracuda Networks,  will be held on Saturday. People who will come from all around the world will see the biggest waves of the year on Saturday in California.

Saturday will be a big day for both people who love surfing  and those who care for the environment because it's the day the Mavericks Surf Contest 2010. People coming from different parts of the world will se the big waves and some of the fines surfers in action.

Actually, it's note sure whether Mother Nature decides to come out and play. However, this time it will be  completely different than past years. We may see the 50-foot waves.
