Be Healthy with Red Wine!We are not kidding! Sometimes things that are delicious can be healthy at the same time. Some researches proved that wine can improve our health and even increase longevity. Let’s see which wines gives us the best?


Scientists have found that red wine includes a great deal of flavonoids which are well known for their antioxidant qualities and help your body resist such maladies as allergens, viruses and carcinogens.

Red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Syrah and Pinot Noir contain highest deals of antioxidants and flavonoids.

Merlots and red zinfandels contain fewer flanoids though. But they’re still better than most white wines. The best way for us to follow is drinking red wine instead of white ones.

Some of you may think “if it’s that much healthy, let’s drink wine till we get plastered every night!” Of course this is not the answer. Remember Paracelsus’s words: “Wine is a food, a medicine and a poison - it's just a question of dose.” It’s the same with all of the foods and drinks.

But what should be the right amount for one day to drink? Most health officials suggest one or two four-ounce glasses per day for men, while women should content themselves with one four-ounce per day.

Professor Roger Corder, a cardiovascular expert has spent his years studying to proof the benefits of red wine. In his new book ‘The Wine Diet’, he says he is sure that most of us should include wine in our everyday routines.

He discovered the “French Paradox”. He realized that French have a lower rate of heart disease although they’re eating too much fatty foods. He concentrated his research on the southwest portion of France, where people live a long life.

While he is searching the reason for this, he discovered that the region produces very tannic local wines, which contain the highest procyanidin (a kind of antioxidant) content of any wines worldwide. When he understood this, he furthered his research on the benefits of red wine.

Although wine is not the only key that opens the door of youth, a glass of wine everyday helps us to save our good health condition. But never forget what Paracelsus says!
