In recent years, the competition among search engines is about to return to the war of search engines. What do you think? Who wins?
Need to accept that the world's best search engine is currently Google (At least I think so). They are still the world's dominant search engine. But the big search engine Google faced its first challengers in this year. Other search companies came up with new ideas to get people to their websites and found some good ideas about the way people can and should find information online.
Wolfram-Alpha is new search engine. For the first time, we heard its name through its new tools which calculates the answers to user queries instead of sending Web surfers to lists of Web site links, as Google does. That was the huge step for Wolfram-Alpha.
Microsoft's Bing was other new competitor. They introduced us new ways of listing search queries. New search engine Bing introduced new ways to search for products and to sort through photos online. According to a source on cnn.com, Bing got 10 percent of the search market by the end of the year.
