Every year, we meet new trends on the WEB. For example, it wouldn't be wrong if I say one of the most trends of this year was mobile technology. The year 2009 was also filled with mobility. It wasn't only coming from smart phones or mobile gadgets, but from all kinds of different devices. Well, what are going to be trends in 2010? Here are my WEB Trends Predictions for 2010.
Google Wave
Google Wave was announced on May 28, 2009. It is a new model for communication and collaboration on the web. I think Google Wave hasn't had much members this year. Because the system was in the developing process. Short time ago, Google Wave has opened its doors to the WEB. Members can join the system anymore. But you have to be invited to Google Wave to be able to use the system, or you can try to request an invitation by using invitation form on Google.
I am not going to be explain what Google Wave is. Because I guess you heard a lot of thing about Google Wave. If you never heard what Google Wave is, you can visit the article about Google Wave I published before.
Shortly, a “wave” is equal parts conversation and document, where people can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
I believe Googe Wave is going to be next trends in social search.
Social Network APIs
The year 2008 was the first year when the trend of Social Networking APIs took off. All of us witnessed the rising of the Social Network APIs in 2009. Almost all the web services allow some form of API integration to other systems such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.
The APIs have been still developed by developers and these useful API's won't leave our lives. Social Network APIs will make easier to use internet and be more easier to use than the heavy developer-centric system that we see in 2009.
Make Money Online
How to make money online? Does anyone know any current money-making trends? Maybe, these questions were asked tons of times. But this is just a beginning of changing of earning money system.
In 2010, we will witness the rising of kinds of question. People will look for more creative ways to make some extra changes to earn more money. I don't mention about a new spamming way to earn money. People will look for new systems.
Due to difficult living conditions, we are trying the new ways stay on our feet. Advertising, posting emails, earning money through online ads by blogging etc. These kinds of methods are good ways to make money. But competition grew up as time passed. It is necessary to find new ways to make money online.
Pay-per-click will continue to be one of the most popular and most effective marketing tools for 2010, but I guess people will use Social Network Sites more than past to make money.
Making money at home idea always charms people and i think it will continue charming. New ways to make money online will be waiting for us in 2010.
Internet TV & YouTube Stars
Internet TV will be totally different than it is in 2009. In the next year, it will more popular than 2009. More powerful streaming and higher qulity pictures and personalization will be more developed.
In November 2006, after Google unvelied the new face of YouTube, many things have changed in video sharing cultures. We see a lot of people who became an internet celebrity through YouTube. In 2010, YouTube will continue to dominate and we will meet more YouTube celebrity.
Who knows? Maybe thousand of people will watch your video and you will be next YouTube star.
