There is water on moon NASA has announced that there is water on the moon. NASA spacecraft LCROSS has evidenced this water after LCROSS (Lunar Crater Observatory and Sensing Satellite) impacted the moon. LCROSS discovered water ice beds at the lunar south pole.

Scientists, lots of people even the mankind were wondering if it is a water on moon. I think most of people have long suspected there was water on the moon. But the expected news announced by NASA on Friday that declared there is water on moon.

The project scientist Anthony Colaprete, lead scientist for the mission, said "We found water. And we didn't find just a little bit. We found a significant amount,".

It's unclear how much water there is across the entire moon. But it's clear that this discovery will make the moon attractive for exploration again.
